Harry why not let us street stocks take that STUPID 2" pipe off our headers and let us be real racecars, as long as the headers are between the frame rails who cares, not like you have to worry about noise, I know of about 5 or 6 guys that want this that run there, so what do you think harry?

LV and MCR have made there rule changes. Streetstocks still have to run exhaust but it has been increased to 3"OD pipe. Last season it was 2"OD. It's not what you guys wanted but it will be better with it being opened up.
They also will now allow Eldebrock Peformer Intake Part 2101, which is optional. |

The subject of exhaust pipes is sure to arise and for those wanting open headers the reason for pipes is to keep the exhaust out of the drivers compartment.Also mufflers are mandated by ordinances at Lv/MCR /Freedom and just a good idea for the hearing safety of the competitors.

drivers can put turndowns on them, no different then any other tracks with open headers, the mufflers and noise thing is BS all the other class are that way, they run mufflers

there is nothing I dont understand about mufflers MCR manangement, that is what I said all the other classes have them, at least the streets wouldnt have the pipes sticking out the doors, so they wouldnt be as loud, right?
